- 485 Visa holders who could not return to Australia because of the coronavirus pandemic can apply for a replacement visa, allowing current and former visa holders whose visa has expired to apply for a 485 with the same duration as the original one.

What can you do if your Temporary Graduate Visa expired when you were overseas?
If your 485 Visa expired when you were not in Australia, you are eligible for the same visa again. However, there are some conditions you need to know regarding this.

- Students can take up work up to 40 hours every two weeks during the semester and more during breaks.
- The family members of the visa holder studying PG or Ph.D. can work indefinitely once the 500 visa owner starts the course.
- PG and Ph.D. students can work indefinitely.

The processing time: The processing time for the visa depends on various factors, including the course you selected.
