Today we are happy to get our hands on this news and would like to share some related information with you and how our Visa Consultant for New Zealand can help you take advantage of this news. So, without any more delay, let us commence this article.
The five stages of border reopening
Surprisingly, the borders between Australia and New Zealand will open in 5 stages, which is a lot of information to consume. So if you have any doubt after reading this section, please contact our expert New Zealand Visa Consultant in India.
Step 1: Locals and other qualifying visitors from Australia can now return to New Zealand and self-isolate. Isolation is not mandatory anymore, but you need to meet the following criteria.
- You are either a New Zealand local or resident who can enter when its borders are closed. You need to meet the vaccination rules and have spent the last 14 days in either of the nations.
- You must get a New Zealand Travelers Pass. It is possible by filling out a Travelers Declaration form. We would recommend filling it out as early as possible to have enough hand in time to complete it. You can fill it out at the official New Zealand website.
- After entering the New Zealand international airport, you must show your Travelers Pass to the customs authorities.
Step 2: New Zealand’s local citizens or other certified tourists worldwide can now cross the border without self-isolating on the following terms.
- You are allowed to cross the border when it is closed. If you have a border exception and have completed health criteria like vaccinations or before tests, it is possible.
- If you have applied for a work visa. For more information and expert assistance with the New Zealand work visa, please contact our New Zealand Work Visa Consultant in Gwalior.
- If you meet the working holiday schemes.
- Please note that the border restriction for other essential workers has been increased. For more information, get in touch with our Visa Consultant.
Step 3: The border will officially reopen. Please check out the official policies and activities if you are a Temporary Work or Student Visa applicant meeting your visa conditions and are out of New Zealand.
- You must meet all the visa requirements.
- If you are re-entering New Zealand, you must ensure that you have the latest proof that you still adhere to your visa eligibility criteria.
- Up to 5000 students from all over the world will study in the 2nd semester. Australian locals or residents will visit from all over the world.
Step 4: If you are qualified for the Employer Work (AEW) Visa, you can enter New Zealand.
Step 5: If the visa is closed or delayed, the New Zealand government will reopen the border, and the authorities will process the visa applications usually. Please note that the authorities will take out the exceptions at the border.
